The PoweredAir/Availability function works with the functionality of Amadeus Air which includes:
Amadeus Air provides airline schedules and availability information for flights that have seats available for sale on more than 360 airlines. The Amadeus system stores over 500 thousand city pairs and 3.9 million routings world-wide, offering you a wide range of direct flights and over 60 million connecting flight options. Through Amadeus Access, you are provided with a real-time link to the airline inventory systems. A virtual image of the airline inventory is kept in the Amadeus database, so you can be sure you are seeing an immediate display of any flight operation changes and real-time availability information. From the current date, you can request schedules and availability for 361 days in the future and 3 days in the past. Past-date and shuttle flights are displayed without availability status codes. Availability and schedule displays contain flights for airlines that have a sales agreement with Amadeus. Amadeus Air is made up of the following products:

allowed to sell from negotiated space are referred to as the 'owners' of the
negotiated space. Negotiated space is controlled by a security package. Only
the Owners of the negotiated space are entitled to view the number of available
seats and sell from the negotiated space. Other users have no means to know that
the negotiated space even exists. The function CreatePassiveNegoSpace is used to handle pre-blocked space made directly with an airline. It enables the space to be stored in the Amadeus system in the same manner as the function CreateNegoSpace, however with the passive feature no messages are sent between the negotiated airline and the amadeus system. Space that is sold from the passive negotiated space in the Amadeus system is not reported to the airline. All space management must be handled directly with the airline. | ||||||||||

A Seat Map contains valuable information pertaining to the cabin configuration and seat status of a specific airline flight. This information, in most cases, is utlized to provide an end-user with a key to the seats of a specific flight for advanced seating purposes. Note: PoweredAir_RetrieveSeatMap is only valid for airlines with an interactive seat map interface with Amadeus. |

The Car Location functionality provides the user
to display the list of all rental car offices in a given city or airport or
country, for every rental car company |
The Car MultiAvailability functionality displays a list of rates for different, Car providers in or near a particular airport. Only valid airport codes are applicable for a multiple company rate availability display. A request is made to all Complete Access Plus companies to request specific information from their database. Then the rate availability is built in Amadeus from a merge of the results retrieved from the Car databases and the results returned by the Complete Access Plus providers. |

In case of Complete Access Plus provider, a request is made to the applicable car company to get specific information from its database. The rates are displayed in the same order the provider has sent them. In case of Complete Access and Standard Access provider, a request is made to get information from the Amadeus Cars database. |

The function DisplayItinerary is used to display travel arrangements from a retrieved or modified PNR, that can include flight information, hotel and car rental information, and any other miscellaneous information. If more than one passenger exists, the system displays a joint itinerary. The Display Itinerary allows data to be displayed in the language of your choice. |

The LowFareSearch function also known as Value Pricer, is an Amadeus
host-based product that searches for available low fares. You can use Value
Pricer entries with or without an active PNR. The system returns up to four
recommendations, which you can choose from to either create a new booking, or
rebook an existing one. Value Pricer processes multi passenger types, and
guarantees your seat at booking time. |

The Hotel Multi Availability function provides a list of available hotels located in a given city or around a given Point Of Reference with their rate ranges. The rate ranges cover the full scope of available, non-conditional rates when no special rate option is used. Rate ranges and availabilities

providers’ system depending on the level of access of the chain:

Creating a reservation in the Amadeus System requires several mandatory elements
and allows for numerous optional elements
to be added. An individual API transaction exists to create each element of a reservation.
Instead of creating the reservation with a transaction for each reservation element, the
AddMultiElements transaction has been developed to facilitate more efficient
communication by allowing numerous reservation elements to be created at one time. | ||||||||||||||||||
The PoweredPNR/Cancel function works with the functionality of Amadeus PNR. The function Cancel is used to specific actions to be processed on a PNR such as identifying the PNR elements and sub elements that need to be cancelled. You cannot cancel or delete itinerary flight segments that are marked as

The retrieve pnr transaction is used to retrieve and
display an active pnr or to redisplay a pnr during the current session.

A customer profile is a record containing useful information about a Traveler, Company, or Agency profile data whenever required. You can also create PNRS automatically from customer profiles. Create/Update ProfilesThe Powered Create/Update Profile function allows you to create and update profiles. Profilescontain useful information that can help you when you make a reservation in the Amadeus system. The types of profiles that can be taken into account are Traveler, Company, Traveler profiles associated to company profiles and *Agency profiles. Traveler profile - contains information such as name of the travelling passenger, the passenger's Frequent Flyer number and other relevant remarks Company profiles - will hold information, such as trip and traveler categories. It is possible to update a created profile, however you can not update a traveler profile and a company profile at the same time in API Important!Not all the Create/Update Profile functionality will be available for use on the API system at this time.Consequently, there will be a progressive introduction of the functionality, accompanied by on-line documentation on how to use them! * Agency profiles are currently not available - coming soon. |

Amadeus provides the means of checking the form of payment made with a credit card and are able to obtain an approval code status for the transaction made. For cards issued in the US and CANADA you can also make an address verification. Credit Card checks can be preformed without the issuance of a ticket. Important !The address verification field in your office profile must be set to ON to allow you to use this function.If it is not set the verification process is stopped and an error message is returned. Additionally, an approval code is only valid for a ticket issued on the Day that the approval code was obtained. Once obtained, an Approval cannot be cancelled through the system. PoweredTicket DisplayTST The function Display TST (Transitional Stored Ticket) allows the user to display a partial or complete record containing all the ticketing information associated to a passenger name record. The system automatically stores information requested from the fare server in the TST. If more than one TST exists, the system numbers the TST and appends the TST creation date, office identification and agent sign to the TST. |
