Interface PoweredPNR    PoweredPNR

Creating a reservation in the Amadeus System requires several mandatory elements and allows for numerous optional elements to be added. An individual API transaction exists to create each element of a reservation. Instead of creating the reservation with a transaction for each reservation element, the AddMultiElements transaction has been developed to facilitate more efficient communication by allowing numerous reservation elements to be created at one time.

This powerful transaction provides the capability to create an entire reservation within the Amadeus System with one single communication call between the Proxy and the API Gateway.

Evidently, not all the Elements and Segments will be available for use on the API test system immediately, due to parallel testing on the Amadeus HOST system that drives each transaction.

Consequently, there will be a progressive introduction of the Elements and Segments over the coming months on the API system, accompanied by on-line help and documentation on how to use them!

The PoweredPNR/Cancel function works with the functionality of Amadeus PNR.

The function Cancel is used to specific actions to be processed on a PNR such as identifying the PNR elements and sub elements that need to be cancelled.

You cannot cancel or delete itinerary flight segments that are marked as flown, or
auxiliary segments that are marked as past, from a PNR.

      Retrieve Profile

The Powered RetrieveProfile function allows you to retrieve a profile type

More information about the specifics of the different profiles can be found in the individual functions.

      Traveler profile:

The retrieve function allows you to display a Traveler profile along with the PNR transferable
data. The other data sections are not retrieved unless they contain information.

It is possible to retrieve a profile by way of the Traveler NAME where an exact match exists,
alternatively, if an exact name match can not be found a similar name list is returned, listing all the names
that begin with the entered name. The header information shows the record locator and the type
of profile. It is possible to request a specific data section when retrieving a Profile.

A profile has a number of separate data sections that you can display, each section is identified
with a unique three-letter code. Such as PNR, PNR transferable data It is possible to display a traveler profile
using the frequent flyer number in profile mode. The frequent flyer number can be either active or inactive.

Company profile: It is possible to retrieve a company profile and the system automatically displays the general

retrieved by another office if the necessary security privileges exist.

If the necessary security privileges exist it is possible by specifying an office id to request
a profile that belongs to another office. Adding the complete office identification and the
      corporate qualifier does this.

When you add the office id, the system searches for all profiles belonging to that specific office.
If the corporate qualifier code is added, the system searches for all profiles belonging to that
      corporate id.

A traveler or company profile can be retrieved using the six-character record locator.

If the profile indicator (traveler or company) is not mentioned in the transaction code, the
system searches for a traveler profile by default.

      Agency profile: (currently unavailable)

It is possible to retrieve an agency profile and the system automatically displays the general
information section. The other data sections are not displayed unless they contain information.

Only one agency profile can exist for each office, hence it is not necessary to include the
profile name in your retrieve entry. A profile that belongs to another office can be retrieved
by another office if the necessary security privileges exist.

The header information shows the record locator and the type of profile. It is possible to request
a specific data section when retrieving a Profile.
