CAP Implementation Procedure

You need to fill in the API CAP questionnaire. Once completed, please return it either to API Product Management (i.e. one of the e-mail addresses included at the top of the questionnaire) or to your local contact in Amadeus.

When you have made your decision to use Amadeus API, we recommend to have either a conference call or a meeting to address various topics. Please call API Product Management or your local contact in Amadeus in order for the project kick off to be arranged.

In order to have access to the Amadeus API, you first need to sign the Amadeus API license agreement. You can ask your local contact in Amadeus or you can get assistance from API Product Management.

When you have a clear idea on your design and your application schedule, please inform API Product Management. We will need to agree on a timeframe at the beginning of your project so that we can reserve a slot in our certification schedule. The sooner API Product Management is informed of your plan, the easier it will be to reserve the certification slot for your chosen date.

We also need you to return a filled in certification questionnaire to API Product Management at least three weeks before the certification date. This should include a summarised workflow and a comprehensive list of all the API verbs utilised.

Your application development needs to be completed prior to certification. E.g. the application must be tested by yourselves and any error found must be corrected before it is submitted for certification.

When your application is certified, we recommend that you then check the behaviour of your application in Amadeus Practice Training before going to Amadeus Production. The Amadeus Practise Training allows you to execute your application in Amadeus Production environment; although your bookings are regularly discarded from the system.
